One lake in the middle, the houses around it among the pines and oaks, and around that 25,000 hectares of Kempen-Broek. In summer the lake is full of water lilies; with a bit of luck you can skate on it in winter. Fishing is allowed.

On the park
On the park you can play volleyball, table tennis and jeu de boules. The lawns have play equipment and goals for football, and wooden benches stand in the best spots. There is a launderette, and you park your car in the central car park by the entrance, which also has a charging zone for electric cars.
Food and drink
Just outside the park is restaurant Boshuis Nieuw Vosseven, for a drink or a meal at reasonable prices, on a terrace under stretch tents and festoon lights.
Nearby
The centre of Stramproy, with supermarkets and shops, is a five-minute drive, and Weert is a few minutes’ drive away too. From the park you walk and cycle into the Kempen-Broek.
